Putin's envoy begins talks with US delegation in Miami

Kirill Dmitriev, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin's special envoy, who arrived in Miami on 31 January, has begun talks with a US delegation.

Details: Interfax reported that the talks began at 08:00 local time (15:00 in Kyiv).

On Saturday morning, Dmitriev said he had arrived in Miami.

"Back in Miami," he wrote on social media.

On 23-24 January, trilateral talks between the United States, Ukraine and Russia took place in Abu Dhabi.
Media reports said the sides had made progress on military issues.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the 23-24 January talks between Ukraine, the US and Russia in Abu Dhabi as constructive.
US digital news outlet Axios reported earlier that trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States and Russia in the United Arab Emirates are set to continue on 1 February.
Axios also reported that talks in Abu Dhabi had taken place not only in a trilateral format involving Ukraine, the US and Russia, but also in a bilateral Ukraine-Russia format without US participation.
