Russian strikes on Kharkiv Oblast: one killed, another five injured

Russian occupying forces have struck the city of Kharkiv and 16 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast over the past 24 hours, killing one person and injuring five others.

Details: An 85-year-old woman was killed, while a 61-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were injured in the village of Novoosynove in the Kurylivka hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

In addition, a 67-year-old man sustained injuries in the settlement of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk hromada, while a 22-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman were injured in the city of Derhachi.

The Russians attacked Kharkiv's Slobidskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Osnovianskyi, Saltivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts using drones.

Kharkiv's energy infrastructure and that of the region were targeted by Russian forces.
