Zelenskyy: 10 Ukrainian defence tech export hubs to operate in Europe in 2026

Ten export hubs for Ukrainian defence technologies will operate in Europe in 2026.

Details: Zelenskyy said the offices will operate in the Baltic states and northern Europe, and their total number in Europe is expected to reach ten by the end of the year. Zelenskyy said that "we will already see the production of our drones in Germany" in mid-February and that "production lines are also operating in the United Kingdom".
Quote: "All of these are Ukrainian technologies. There are several different projects. All of this will be based mostly on Ukrainian technologies and will engage Ukrainian experts. We are at war, and not all companies yet feel free enough to enter other markets."
Background:
- On 19 September, Zelenskyy announced the launch of controlled exports of Ukrainian arms to secure funding and scale up production of required military equipment.
- In October 2025, Ukraine launched its first drone production line in Denmark.
- In November, delegations from the Ukrainian and UK defence ministries signed a licensing agreement to launch production of the Ukrainian-designed Octopus interceptor drone.
- Since November 2025, interceptor drones have also been produced jointly with the United States.
- In mid-December 2025, it was reported that Frontline Robotics, a Ukrainian drone manufacturer, and Quantum Systems, a German defence company, were launching the production of attack drones in Germany under a contract for Ukraine.
