Ukrainian intelligence agency exposes 21 Russian companies producing drones for war against Ukraine

Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has published data on 21 Russian companies involved in the development and production of unmanned systems that the Kremlin uses in the war against Ukraine.
Source: DIU via War&Sanctions portal
Details: The update includes, in particular:
- Agency of Digital Development LLC – a developer and manufacturer of the Svarog line of cargo UAVs. These drones were used by Russian marine units to supply Russian forces on islands in the Dnipro River delta in Kherson Oblast
- companies of the Aero-hit Group – a developer and manufacturer of Veles FPV drones. DIU reports they are owned by Konstantin Basyuk, the so-called Russian senator from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast, and receive state funding from the Russian budget
- Mikrob Design Bureau – the developer of the Mikrob series of FPV drones, as well as Ploshchad JSC, which produces autopilot and machine-vision systems for these drones
DIU says part of the published information was provided by participants in the international War&Sanctions hackathon held by DIU last year.
DIU also stressed that the listed companies should be included in blacklists of responsible businesses, financial institutions and export control authorities in countries of the free world. More than half of them are still not under sanctions by any country of the sanctions coalition, which allows the Kremlin to freely obtain technologies, components and financing.
Background:
- Recently, DIU released an interactive 3D model, component base and data on 31 companies involved in the production of unified gliding and correction modules that Russia widely uses to terrorise Ukraine.
- Earlier, DIU also named manufacturers of Iskander cruise missiles that are still not under sanctions.
