Ukraine receives 22 generators from Lithuania

Ukraine has received 22 generators from Lithuania with a total capacity of 13 MW to support hospitals and critical infrastructure in Kyiv.

Details: The Lithuanian generators will also be connected to Kyiv's water and heating facilities.
Shmyhala said that Lithuania has sent 348 humanitarian shipments to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war, delivering over 5,900 tonnes of energy equipment.
Lithuania's contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund totals €5.7 million.
Background:
- At the end of January, the Lithuanian government announced the urgent transfer of 90 generators worth over €2 million.
- Additionally, the Association of Local Authorities in Lithuania allocated €50,000 from the country's municipalities to purchase generators and heaters for Ukraine.
- Employees of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs collected nearly €14,000 for generators as part of their support campaign.
