Kremlin says it agrees to hold new round of peace talks next week

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has announced that an agreement has been reached to hold the next round of peace talks on ending the war in Ukraine next week, though he did not specify the location.

Details: He said that the Kremlin will provide additional information regarding the exact dates and venue. "But indeed, it will be next week," the Kremlin spokesperson said.

- Earlier, Peskov had said that the next round of talks between Ukraine and Russia was expected to take place soon, without providing further details.
- Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian side is ready for a new meeting with the Russian delegation to work towards ending the war in Ukraine. He said that, unfortunately, there are still no sufficiently clear responses from Russia regarding what has been proposed for next week. He noted that he continues to hear manipulations involving the possible use of Oreshnik ballistic missiles. "This is certainly not about peace," Zelenskyy said.
