More drones for Ukraine: TAF Industries launches joint UAV production in Germany

Ukrainian defence company TAF Industries has signed an agreement with German manufacturer Wingcopter to launch joint drone production in Germany.

Details: "We have signed an agreement with Wingcopter: more drones for Ukraine and production in Germany," TAF Industries said.

The memorandum was officially signed on 13 February at the 62nd Munich Security Conference in the presence of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and representatives of the governments of Ukraine and Germany.

Quote from TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovskyi: "For TAF Industries, expanding the production of systems that are already saving lives on the front is the top priority. This joint venture combines our battle-tested innovations with Germany's industrial capacity, transforming operational experience into scalable production. We are ready to share our unique expertise with partners to strengthen collective resilience and build a stronger defence ecosystem together."

Details: TAF Industries also stated that it is operating within the Build with Ukraine programme. The Ukrainian manufacturer emphasised that joint development of new platforms for the EU and NATO markets lies ahead.

Wingcopter states on its website that it develops efficient and sustainable drone solutions to improve and save lives.

TAF Industries manufactures drones and electronic warfare systems. Its electronic warfare system Kvazar 3M recently passed testing by Ukraine's Ministry of Defence and was approved for operation on armoured vehicles.
