Quote: "The negotiations are continuing for a second day. If there is any information, our chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky will share it with you. For now, it is hardly appropriate to speak about what has been discussed; we need to wait for this round to conclude."
Details: Regarding the outcome of the talks in Switzerland, Peskov said it was too early to draw conclusions.
"Of course, there are direct reports to the president, but it is too early to speak of any assessments," the spokesman told journalists when asked whether Putin had been briefed on the interim results of the third round of negotiations on Ukraine taking place in Geneva.
Background:
- On 18 February, the second day of negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine, the United States and Russia began in Geneva. The sessions are closed to the media.
- On 17 February, a new round of talks began in Geneva, during which, according to Ukraine's chief negotiator Rustem Umierov, the delegations were focusing on security and humanitarian issues.

- Commenting on the course of the negotiations in Geneva, Zelenskyy stated that Russia is attempting to drag out the talks.
