Ukrainian forces holding back Russian advance towards Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on Oleksandrivka front

Ukraine's defence forces are carrying out counterattacks and assault operations on the Oleksandrivka front to prevent Russian troops from advancing towards Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Quote: "There have been 10 clashes on the Oleksandrivka front over the past day. The situation there is quite tense, but the country's defence forces are wiping out the enemy and trying to stop its movement towards Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, towards the settlement of Pokrovske."

Details: Voloshyn added that Ukraine's defence forces continue active combat operations to repel the Russian offensive and stabilise the situation in the area. He said Russia persists in its efforts despite Ukrainian counterattacks.

Background: Russian forces are continuing to apply pressure along the entire front line. A total of 237 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day. The most challenging situation remains on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole fronts.
