Details: The ministry asserted that its air defence systems had intercepted and destroyed 77 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions, temporarily occupied Crimea and the waters of the Sea of Azov.
According to the Russians, 24 drones had been downed over Krasnodar Krai, 13 over occupied Crimea, 9 over Kursk Oblast and 9 over Rostov Oblast.
The Russian defence ministry also claimed that some of the drones had been intercepted in Belgorod, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd and Voronezh oblasts as well as over the Sea of Azov.
Meanwhile, the ministry has said nothing about the reported strikes on a missile production plant in Russia's Udmurt Republic, although the local governor did confirm "a drone attack". Some media outlets and Telegram channels suggested the strike may have involved Ukrainian-made Flamingo cruise missiles.
