Ukrainian gas production facility halts operations after Russian drone attack on Kharkiv Oblast

Russia has been attacking a gas production facility belonging to Naftogaz Group, the state-owned oil and gas company of Ukraine, in Kharkiv Oblast with drones throughout the whole day on 24 February.

Details: Once the air-raid ends, the company's repair specialists, together with units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, will be able to deal with the aftermath of the strikes.

Koretskyi said the Russian forces have carried out 26 attacks on Naftogaz Group facilities since the start of the year.

Background: Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has carried out 401 attacks on the infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group. In 2025 alone, 229 attacks were recorded – more than in the previous three years combined.
