Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has said he has not heard that US partners have set any deadlines for ending the war and stressed that peace talks are a complex process that cannot be tied to exact dates.

- On 24 February, Bloomberg reported, citing NATO allies, that the US is allegedly seeking to end the Russo-Ukrainian war by 4 July, when the US marks Independence Day.
- Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the US had proposed ending Russia's war against Ukraine by early summer, as it would later shift its focus to the US congressional elections.
- Reuters reported that American and Ukrainian negotiators had discussed the possibility of signing a peace agreement in March and holding elections in Ukraine in May.
