Iran claims it has struck 27 US facilities

Iran claims it has carried out strikes on 27 US military facilities in the region amid ongoing missile exchanges in the Middle East.

Details: According to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the strikes also targeted Israel's Tel Nof airbase, its military headquarters and a major defence industry complex in Tel Aviv.

The IRGC stated that missiles and drones were used in this sixth "wave" of retaliatory attacks and pledged to continue military operations.

"The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow the air raid sirens in the occupied territories and American bases to stop, and will continue to deliver repeated and regret-making strikes as a different and very hard step of revenge," Iran's state broadcaster IRIB said.

These strikes have not been independently verified.
