Vyriy, one of Ukraine's largest FPV drone manufacturers, has codified its Dzhankoi ground robotic system and the low-cost Sokil reconnaissance UAV.

Details: Both products are currently undergoing trials in brigades. The Sokil UAV has already been successfully used during its first combat missions. The Dzhankoi ground robotic system is still being tested in combat workshops.

"Dzhankoi is at the starting line, Sokil is even closer to launch. We have received positive feedback on Sokil and are beginning to form an order queue. With Dzhankoi, we are anticipating its first combat deployment," Vyriy representatives said.

The Sokil UAV is a budget reconnaissance drone. It is hand-launched, deploys within 20 minutes, operates at altitudes of up to 2,500 metres and has a maximum range of 170 kilometres. Sokil will feature a system to counter Russian FPV interceptors, which are increasingly used to shoot down Ukrainian drones. The cost of the drone is up to US$5,000 per unit.

Dzhankoi is a platform designed for logistics and support missions. The ground robotic system has a payload capacity of up to 500 kg and, the company says, can tow damaged equipment weighing about 2.5 tonnes. Its maximum speed is 15 km/h with a range of 42 kilometres.

Communications are ensured via a Starlink terminal with automatic switching to backup communication types. A key feature of the Dzhankoi system is its proprietary tracked chassis with a self-cleaning function.

Background: In September, Vyriy presented several new products, including a drone carrier for FPV drones and the low-cost Sokil reconnaissance UAV.
