Zelenskyy speaks about work of "serious teams" from Ukraine in Middle East

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stressed that Ukraine is not at war with Iran and added that the deployment of Ukrainian personnel to the Middle East is "about expertise".

Quote: "Serious teams have been sent. Each team consists of dozens of people.

This is not a story about three or four people simply being sent somewhere to show something. Our teams are serious. Three teams that have departed are capable of conducting expertise and demonstrating how this should work."

Background:

• Ebrahim Azizi, a member of the Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy of Iran's parliament, claimed that Ukraine has turned its territory into a legitimate target for Iran because of supposed drone assistance to Israel.
