A Russian strike on the Dnister Hydroelectric Power Plant in Ukraine's Novodnistrovsk has put Moldova's water supply at risk.

Details: Sandu added that the Moldovan authorities have declared an environmental alert and are taking measures to protect the population.

The environmental alert in Moldova has been declared for 15 days and water supply has been temporarily restricted in several settlements.
