Association Agreement with EU: Ukraine completes nearly 85% of required tasks

A report published on 16 March on the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union for 2025 states that Ukraine has reached 84% fulfilment of the agreement.

Details: By the end of 2025, the overall progress in implementing the Agreement increased from 81% in 2024 to 84% in 2025.
The report states that in 2025 the greatest progress in fulfilling the commitments stipulated by the Association Agreement was achieved in the following areas: financial sector – annual increase of 8%, overall progress 82%; social policy and labour relations – annual increase of 7%, overall progress 87%; sanitary and phytosanitary matters – annual increase of 5%, overall progress 96%; and agriculture – annual increase of 5%, overall progress 79%.
Meanwhile, the highest level of fulfilment of commitments has been recorded in the areas of statistics and information exchange (100%), education, training and youth (99%) and intellectual property (98%).
This is the final report on the implementation of the Association Agreement. From now on, all of Ukraine's European integration commitments will be reflected in the National Programme for the Adaptation of Legislation to EU law.
