Quote: "A year holding the line. Brothers-in-arms from the 30th Brigade spent 365 days defending their positions on the Kramatorsk front without retreating or losing their positions. As the situation on the front shifted, they were effectively encircled.

Reconnaissance units from the Skelia regiment moved through enemy rear areas, reached the soldiers and pulled them out of the trap. The evacuation lasted three days and ended successfully."

Details: In a video released by Skelia, the soldiers said they had taken up their positions last year, one in March and the other in November.

They were defending positions along a road near Sloviansk.

One serviceman said they spent most of their time underground, digging deeper to avoid Russian heavy artillery.
