Ukrainian air defence downs 128 out of 147 Russian drones overnight

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 147 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones since the evening of 17 March. Ukrainian air defences have downed 128 of them, but some hits have been recorded.

Quote: "As of 08:00, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 128 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east. Hits by 15 UAVs had been recorded at 12 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 3 locations."
Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea. More than 70 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
As of 08:00, the attack is ongoing.
