According to Coale, restrictions will be removed from the Belarusian Ministry of Finance, the Development Bank of Belarus and Belinvestbank. In addition, Belarusian Potash Company and Belaruskali – the country's main producers of potash fertilisers – will be taken off the US sanctions list.
The US presidential envoy said the rollback of restrictions would happen quickly and noted that he had discussed the issue with officials at the Treasury Department ahead of his trip to Minsk.
Background:

- Since the summer of 2025, after communication between the Trump administration and Lukashenko and a partial easing of US sanctions, more than one hundred Belarusian political prisoners have been freed.
