Ukrainian foreign minister announces meeting of EU ministers on anniversary of Russian atrocities in Bucha

EU foreign ministers will hold a meeting in Kyiv led by Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on 31 March.

Details: Sybiha said he will discuss with his colleagues EU support for Ukraine, pressure on Russia and efforts to achieve peace and protect Europe's long-term stability.

He said that the meeting will take place in Kyiv on a symbolic date, the fourth anniversary of the Russian shootings in Bucha.

Background:

German media reported earlier EU foreign ministers plan to meet in Bucha on the fourth anniversary of the city's liberation from Russian forces.
Last week, the Council of the European Union imposed sanctions on nine Russian citizens linked to war crimes committed during the Russian occupation of Bucha in Kyiv Oblast.
