"Of course, we believe that if airspace is being provided for hostile terrorist activities against the Russian Federation, this will oblige us to draw appropriate conclusions and take relevant measures," Peskov said.
Background:
- On 31 March, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces stated that a fake claim was circulating online alleging that Poland's airspace had been used for Ukrainian operations against Russia.
- Earlier, Estonia had previously dismissed as disinformation claims circulating in the Russian information space about the reasons for the appearance of Ukrainian UAVs over the Baltic states.
- On 27 March, Latvia's Ministry of Defence, in the context of the same claims, warned of a coordinated Russian information operation against Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
