Five killed and 27 injured in Russian strike on market in Nikopol

Five people have been killed in Russian strikes on a market in the city of Nikopol today. The number of people injured in the attack has risen to 27.

Quote: "The number of people injured in the Russians' morning strikes on the market in Nikopol has risen to 25.
Eight of them were taken to hospital. A 14-year-old girl has been transferred to the oblast hospital.
The Russians have taken the lives of five people."

Details: Hanzha reported earlier that a 14-year-old girl and two men aged 28 and 72 were in a serious condition. Doctors have assessed the condition of the others as moderate.
Update: Hanzha reported later that 27 people had been injured as a result of the Russian strikes on the market in Nikopol. Another attack left one man injured in the Nikopol district.
Quote: "In the Nikopol district, the district centre [the city of Nikopol] and the Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, Marhanets and Myrove hromadas came under attack. Damage has been caused to more than 30 retail units, the premises of an agricultural company, a house, an outbuilding and vehicles. As a result of the Russian strikes on the Nikopol market, 27 people have been injured. Another attack has left a 42-year-old man injured. He is receiving outpatient treatment."
Background: At about 09:50 on 4 April, Russian forces launched a drone attack on a market in Nikopol. Earlier reports indicated that five people had been killed and 19 injured in the strike.
