Ukrainian marines post video of Russian-occupied Oleshky: "A city the Russians turned into a ghost town"

Ukraine's 34th Marine Brigade has posted a video showing temporarily occupied Oleshky in Kherson Oblast, describing it as "a city the Russians have turned into a ghost town".

Details: The video shows scenes from Oleshky, a city devastated by Russian forces.
Drawing parallels to Christopher Nolan's 2014 film Interstellar, the brigade wrote: "A city the Russians have turned into a ghost town. And no one can rewrite the script here."
Previously: Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine's Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, said in late March that Russian-occupied Oleshky "is not living, but merely surviving".
Background: In 2023, it was reported that Russian forces were forcibly removing residents of the cities of Oleshky and Hola Prystan in Kherson Oblast from their homes, and these dwellings were being used to accommodate Russian officers or to set up firing positions.
