Ukrainian air defence downs 113 Russian drones

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 128 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones since the evening of 9 April. Ukrainian air defences have downed 113 of the UAVs, but hits have been recorded. As of the morning of 10 April, the attack is still ongoing.

Quote: "As of 08:00, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 113 drones in the country's north, south and east. Hits by 14 UAVs have been recorded at 6 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 7 locations."

Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 85 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
