A terrorist attack has taken place in the town of Brovary, leaving a man injured, according to information confirmed to the public broadcaster Suspilne by the press service of the National Police in Kyiv Oblast.

• An improvised explosive device detonated near a residential building. A second explosion occurred after emergency services and law enforcement arrived at the scene. Two law enforcement officers were injured. The first explosive device had been planted under a bench near an apartment building. A second explosive device was located nearby and was detonated remotely.
• The police and the Security Service have detained the 21-year-old perpetrator.
