Ukrainian military provides update on Russian advances in Sumy Oblast

Russian forces have advanced near the settlement of Myropilske in Sumy Oblast, but fighting is ongoing in the area of Marine and the Russians have not reached the village of Novodnytrivka.

The officer clarified that the Russians have not reached Novodmytrivka and that fighting is ongoing in the area of Marine.

"Fighting is under way in the area of Marine, it is essentially a stalemate zone there," Trehubov added.

DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, reported earlier that the Russians have advanced near the settlements of Myropilske, Marine and Novodmytrivka in Sumy Oblast.

Background: Fighters from the 14th Army Corps reported that due to Russia's superiority in forces and assets, they were compelled to withdraw to new positions in the area of the settlement of Myropilske in Sumy Oblast, located near the border with Russia.
