Refuse collection vehicle driver injured in Russian drone strike on Kherson Oblast

The driver of a refuse collection vehicle has been injured in a Russian drone strike on a municipal vehicle in Kherson Oblast on the morning of 23 April.

Quote from the city administration: "Russian occupation forces continue to terrorise the civilian population and deliberately strike municipal workers. The enemy dropped explosives from a drone onto a refuse collection vehicle in the village of Tekstylne after 07:00... One municipal worker has been injured in the strike."

Details: Kherson Oblast Military Administration reported that the 49-year-old driver had suffered a shrapnel wound to the neck, concussion, a blast injury and a closed head injury.

An ambulance transported him to hospital. He is in a moderate condition.
