Man and child injured in Russian drone strike on house in Kharkiv

A 54-year-old man and an 18-month-old boy have been injured in a Russian drone strike on a house in the Nemyshlianskyi district of the city of Kharkiv.

Quote: "An enemy UAV strike was recorded in the Nemyshlianskyi district. A two-storey house has been damaged. A 54-year-old man has been injured and taken to hospital."
Details: Syniehubov said the drone strike had also affected an 18-month-old boy.
"The child suffered from shock. Medics provided all the necessary treatment," he added.
Background:
- Russian forces launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine using drones and cruise and ballistic missiles on the night of 24-25 April.
- Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said Russian forces had struck the Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city with ballistic missiles and a drone had hit a high-rise residential building in the Saltivskyi district.
- A series of explosions was heard in the city of Dnipro during the same large-scale attack, with major fires breaking out, buildings damaged and people injured.
