The ministry said that CORPUS will become an extensive network of procurement agencies from partner countries and will enable better procurement planning, the development of reliable supply chains, identification of vulnerabilities, exchange of experience and mutual reinforcement.

Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency, said the initiative gives Ukraine an opportunity to scale up the experience of supplying the armed forces gained during the full-scale war, while partners will gain access to practical solutions already working in real conditions.

The coalition is open to other partner countries, provided they join the memorandum and receive unanimous support from the board of directors.

Zhumadilov will chair CORPUS during its first year, after which the chairmanship will rotate based on a unanimous decision by the participants.

Background: This week, the EU also launched a platform for testing military technologies for Ukraine.
