Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said following a phone call with Zelenskyy that despite differences on some issues, both he and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are interested in maintaining friendly relations between their countries.

Details: Fico said that during the conversation, they agreed to meet briefly on 4 May in Yerevan at the European Political Community summit. They also plan to continue cooperation through joint government meetings and exchange visits to each other's capitals.

"I also emphasised that no peace agreement in the military conflict with the Russian Federation is possible without the consent of the Ukrainian side," Fico stated.
