Balloon boosting signal for Russian drones flies into Ukraine from Belarus
Ukrainian border guards have reported that a balloon entered Ukraine from Belarusian territory on the evening of 2 May, acting as a relay device to support Russian aerial assets.

Details: Asked about the "peculiar activity" from Belarus mentioned earlier by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Demchenko said border guards expect that provocations and attempts to destabilise the situation may occur, but did not specify what exactly was meant.
He also commented on the balloon reported by social media users on the evening of 2 May.
Quote: "The threat from Belarus never disappears... I cannot disclose everything now, but we can expect or prepare for attempts aimed at destabilising the situation along our border; we have not ruled out provocations.
Yesterday evening [2 May – ed.] we also observed an aerial asset entering [Ukraine] from the Belarusian side, which was later identified as a balloon. In fact, it is a relay device intended to amplify the signal for aerial strike assets that Russia uses against Ukraine during attacks."
