Zelenskyy outlines three goals of his meetings in Yerevan

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said his meetings in Yerevan with European partners ahead of the European Political Community summit focused on three key objectives.

Quote: "First: we are doing everything possible to bring a dignified end to the war closer. I briefed our partners on the state of diplomacy, potential prospects, and planned contacts. Joint efforts are needed to intensify diplomacy and prevent any reduction in pressure on the aggressor. [...]
Second: implementation of the European support package for Ukraine totaling €90 billion – we are accelerating this funding.
Third: strengthening Ukraine's air defence, energy support for Ukraine, and cooperation with partners in the energy sector."
Details: Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is already preparing for the next heating season and is diversifying the corresponding support resources.

- Zelenskyy arrived in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on 3 May.
- He met Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre there.
- He held talks with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and proposed strengthening bilateral cooperation by signing a drone deal.
- Orpo stressed during the meeting with Zelenskyy that violations of Finnish airspace by drones are unacceptable.
- Zelenskyy also met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.
