Russia sharply criticises Armenia over Zelenskyy's visit to Yerevan

Russia's Foreign Ministry has summoned the Armenian ambassador and expressed its outrage over Armenia's decision to host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on a visit to Yerevan.

Quote: "The head of the diplomatic mission was informed of the categorical unacceptability of Armenia giving the head of the Kyiv Nazi regime, V. Zelenskyy, a 'platform' during recent EU-sponsored events to voice terrorist threats against Russia."

Details: Moscow said it feels "justified outrage" over the matter. Russian officials are also angered that the Armenian authorities did not publicly condemn Zelenskyy's remarks.

"The ambassador promised to report the Russian side's concerns to Yerevan," Russia's Foreign Ministry stated.
