Traffic on the Crimean Bridge, which was suspended "for security reasons", has resumed after almost 11 hours. The Crimean (Kerch) Bridge is a road-rail bridge connecting the Russian mainland to occupied Crimea across the Kerch Strait.

Details: The bridge closure caused delays to 12 passenger trains, some of them by up to 7-8 hours.

The bridge reopened after 13:00.

Meanwhile, Russia's Defence Ministry said that 151 drones had attacked Russian oblasts and temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of 15-16 May and in the morning of 16 May, and that all of them had reportedly been shot down.

Background: At around 02:30 on 16 May, the Russian authorities announced that road traffic on the Crimean Bridge was suspended.
