Zelenskyy discusses Europe's role in negotiations with European Council President

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has discussed Europe's role in negotiations aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war with European Council President António Costa.

Quote: "We discussed in detail the prospects of the negotiation process for peace for Ukraine and all of Europe. I informed him about our recent contacts with various leaders in Europe and with the American side.

We both agree that Europe must be involved in the negotiations. It is important for it to have a strong voice and presence in this process, and it is worth determining who will represent Europe specifically."

Details: Zelenskyy and Costa also discussed Ukraine's accession to the EU.

"We are ready for the opening of the clusters – we discussed the timeline and the necessary communication on this," he added.
