Nineteen adults and two children have been injured in a Russian missile strike on a residential area in the city of Dnipro on the night of 17-18 May.

Details: Dnipro had been under continuous Russian attack since 19:00. The city was initially targeted by drones. At around 02:30, Russian forces launched ballistic and cruise missiles.

Update as of 03:40: Hanzha reported that three people had been injured in the attack.

"One man has been hospitalised in a moderate condition. A 50-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man are receiving outpatient treatment," he added.

Update as of 04:00: The number of people injured had risen to nine. 

Update: Hanzha said in the morning that the number of people injured had increased to 18, including a two-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy.

"The children are receiving outpatient treatment. Eight people have been hospitalised – four women and four men. They are in a moderate condition," he noted.
