Three people injured in Russian drone strike on residential areas in Kharkiv

Russian forces launched drone attacks on the Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of Kharkiv on the night of 18-19 May. Fires have broken out at the impact sites, over 25 residential buildings have been damaged and three people have been injured.

Details: Terekhov said Russian forces had struck a civilian infrastructure facility in the Novobavarskyi district. A fire broke out after a Russian drone hit the site.

Emergency services are currently working at the scenes, while information regarding the scale of the destruction and the number of casualties is being confirmed.

Update: Russian forces launched another drone attack on the Novobavarskyi district at around 05:00. Two houses caught fire and more than 10 were damaged.

"Two people have been rescued from one of the houses, while another person may still be trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are ongoing," Terekhov said.

Syniehubov added that a 47-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman had been injured in the attack. The man suffered cuts from broken glass, while the woman was suffering from shock.

Terekhov later reported that three people had been injured in two Russian strikes on the Novobavarskyi district. At least 25 houses and one high-rise residential building were damaged.
