Ukraine's delegation to Serbia will be led by deputy PM, not Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not visit Serbia this week. Instead, Ukraine's delegation to Belgrade is expected to be led by Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

Earlier, Serbian broadcaster N1, citing sources in Belgrade, reported that a Ukrainian delegation is expected to visit Serbia later this week and that it could potentially be led by Zelenskyy.
Relations between Kyiv and Belgrade remain complicated due to Serbia's traditionally Russia-friendly stance.

- Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has visited Ukraine only once – on 11 June 2025, when he attended the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit in Odesa.
- At the time, Zelenskyy said Vučić's visit to Ukraine was important because the Serbian president had seen the war firsthand.
- Vučić did not sign the summit declaration condemning Russia's war against Ukraine, saying that by doing so he had "not betrayed Russia".
