Russian forces attack Ukraine with Iskander-M missile and 154 drones: air defence downs over 130 UAVs, hits recorded

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 154 Shahed (some of them jet-powered), Gerbera and Italmas loitering munitions and Parodiya decoy drones on the night of 19-20 May.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 131 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.
Hits by a ballistic missile and 23 UAVs have been recorded at 20 locations, and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 6 locations.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
The Air Force also warned that new groups of Russian UAVs are entering Ukrainian airspace.
