"I think it's good," Trump says of Xi-Putin meeting

US President Donald Trump has described this week's meeting between the leaders of China and Russia as "good".

Details: Trump was asked what he thought about the meeting between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, which took place shortly after the US president's own visit to China.

"I think it's good. I get along with both of them," Trump replied.

He went on to compare the receptions that were arranged for him and Putin in China.

"I don't know if the ceremony [organised for Putin – ed.] was quite as brilliant as mine. I watched. I think we topped them," the US leader said.
