Quote: "Our strategic goal is to inflict at least 200 enemy losses for every square kilometre of their advance.
The dynamics confirm that Ukraine has managed to significantly slow the enemy's advance and is gradually seizing the initiative. We are also increasing active operations and liberating territory."
Details: Fedorov said Ukraine is currently inflicting catastrophic losses on Russian forces: 35,203 Russian service members were killed or seriously wounded in April, 35,351 in March and 34,544 in December.
All these figures have been verified and confirmed by combat units.
Fedorov said that in October, Russia was losing 67 service members per 1 sq km of advance, with the number rising to 165 in January, 244 in February, 254 in March and 179 in April.
He added that the disabling of Starlink for the Russians in February 2026 played an important role in the growing casualty rates.
Another important factor, among others, was the development of Ukraine's middle-range strike capabilities.
Fedorov said Ukraine aimed to reach a stable 95% interception rate for aerial assets: "The introduction of after-action review played an important role in this process."
