Nine injured in Russian attacks on Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast, church damaged – photos

The number of people injured in Russian drone attacks on Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast has risen to nine.

Quote from Syniehubov: "Today, the city of Balakliia is under a large-scale enemy drone attack.
Nine people have sustained injuries of varying severity. Medics are providing all necessary assistance to them."
Details: The attacks caused fires across the city. Nine vehicles, a post office building, a hotel, a café, an educational institution, an apartment building and a sports facility were damaged.
Update: The State Emergency Service reported that the Russians attacked Balakliia for a second time on the same day, destroying a religious building. A strike drone hit the structure, causing a fire covering an area of 1,300 sq m. No people were inside the church at the time of the strike.

Karabanov said that the strike damaged the Light of the Gospel Church in one of the city's neighbourhoods.

Background: Earlier, prosecutors reported that four people had been injured as a result of the attack on Balakliia.
