One person has been killed and 20 injured in Russian attacks on Kharkiv Oblast over the past day.

Details: At around 17:20 on 5 October, Russian forces attacked a car with an FPV drone on the Zolochiv-Derhachi road near the village of Maslii. The 59-year-old driver was injured.

At around 15:30, an FPV drone struck an area in Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district, damaging a car and injuring a 47-year-old man.

In the afternoon, Russian forces attacked the village of Zolochiv with a UAV, likely a Molniya drone. Two houses and a car were damaged. A man and a woman were suffering from shock.

At around 14:00, an FPV drone attacked a house in Derhachi. The owner sought medical assistance after suffering from shock.

At around 13:00, Russian occupation forces attacked Chuhuiv with Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket systems. Houses and cars were damaged. Twelve people were injured.

At around 11:30, Russian forces attacked the village of Raivka in the Kupiansk district. An 85-year-old woman was killed and two other female residents were injured.

In the morning, a Russian FPV drone attacked a car on the Zolochiv-Derhachi road near the village of Korobky, causing a woman to suffer from shock.

Background:

  • On 5 October, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with at least three guided bombs and a drone. Three people were killed in the strikes and 39 are receiving medical treatment, including children.
  • It was later reported that the number of people injured in the Russian attack on Kharkiv had risen to 59, while six people had been killed.
