Five injured in Russian attacks on Kherson

Five people were injured as a result of Russian attacks on Kherson on 26 May.

Details: At around 11:00, Russian forces attacked residential areas in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson, injuring four people.
A 75-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man were hospitalised with concussion, blast injuries and closed head injuries.
A 63-year-old woman received medical assistance at the scene. She sustained concussion, blast injuries, closed head injuries and a shrapnel wound to her right leg.
A 56-year-old woman also sought medical treatment after sustaining a blast injury.
At around 13:15, the Russians dropped an explosive device from a drone near an educational institution in the city's Tsentralnyi district, injuring a 53-year-old security guard.
He sustained blast injuries, a closed head injury, acoustic trauma and multiple shrapnel wounds to his face, torso and arms. Medics provided assistance at the scene.
Background:
- On 26 May, it was reported that a Kherson resident had died from injuries sustained on 19 May when a Russian drone flew into his apartment through a window.
- Another civilian was killed in a Russian attack on the village of Mykilske in Kherson Oblast on the night of 25-26 May.
