Among the transferred vehicles are Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI 4Matic business-class cars from 2011 and two BMW 525 vehicles from 2004.

Since the start of the war, Latvia has regularly transferred to Ukraine vehicles confiscated from drivers caught operating vehicles while under the influence of alcohol, as well as those seized in other criminal cases.

At the beginning of the year, Latvia announced that it had delivered 21 vehicles confiscated from drunk drivers to Ukraine. In 2024, more than 600 such vehicles were transferred.

Finnish volunteers also sent 12 ambulances previously used in Finland to Ukraine.
