Russian overnight strike targets business centre and civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv

Civilian businesses, urban infrastructure and a business centre have been damaged in a large-scale Russian drone attack on Kharkiv on the night of 8-9 June, city authorities said.

Details: Authorities confirmed 11 drone strikes on the city, while two additional drones crashed without detonating. Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts were hit in the attack.
Among the damaged sites were civilian businesses, shops, vehicles, urban infrastructure, a business centre, a café, a church and dozens of cars. Windows were shattered in numerous residential buildings.
At least 15 people, including two children, have been injured. Emergency services are working at all of the impact sites.
Background: On the night of 8-9 June, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Kh-59/69 missiles and 166 drones of various types. Ukraine's defence forces downed 146 drones.
