Ukrainian soldiers have used a drone to evacuate a cat and her five kittens from frontline positions. The special operation was given the codename Meow-Meow.

Pilots of the motorised infantry battalion of the 118th Separate Mechanised Brigade carried out a unique humanitarian mission codenamed Meow-Meow. From one of the forward positions, using a large drone, they successfully evacuated a cat and her five kittens."

The animals were photographed after being moved "from the front line to the rear".

Background: Earlier, soldiers had used a drone to evacuate a cat and a dog from their positions. The four-legged animals travelled 12 kilometres by air.
