Russia attacks Ukraine with 221 drones and 2 Iskander missiles, hits recorded at 9 locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 221 drones of various types on the night of 10-11 June. Ukraine's air defence has downed 195 UAVs.

Quote: "Early reports indicated that as of 07:30, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 195 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.

Hits by missiles and 21 UAVs have been recorded at 9 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 8 locations."

Details: From 18:00 on 10 June, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Russia's Belgorod Oblast as well as 221 Shahed (some jet-powered), Gerbera and Italmas attack drones and Parodiya decoy UAVs.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in the airspace.
