A Russian drone has struck a house in the Znob-Novhorodske hromada in Sumy Oblast on the morning of 11 June, killing a 67-year-old woman. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Hryhorov said the woman's two young grandchildren had also been in the house at the time of the attack. The children have been taken to hospital for examination. Early reports indicate that they have not suffered serious injuries.

A fire broke out in the house after the drone strike. Information on all circumstances and aftermath of the Russian attack is still being established.

Background: Russian forces attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 221 drones of various types on the night of 10-11 June. Ukraine's air defence downed 195 UAVs.
